Job summary

Ōme Caterers, part of the Dartcor Enterprises family, is seeking a skilled Full-Time Pastry Cook to join our commissary kitchen and support multiple brands including General Coffee Co and Om e Caterers, The Morris Proper and The Maple.

You’ll produce daily pastries from trusted formulas, learn recipes from our Executive Chef team, and grow toward a Pastry Lead role while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Cook in a professional kitchen.
• Working knowledge of core pastry techniques.
• Ability to execute structured formulas with precision.
• Coachable mindset with excitement for long-term growth.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on kitchen environment.
• Strong problem solving skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for occasional deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a full range of fresh pastries daily using established formulas and production systems.
• Execute consistent, high-quality pastry production with attention to detail.
• Learn systems, recipes and operational standards with the Executive Chef team.
• Develop seasonal and limited-time offerings through the R&D-to-execution process.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, organization and presentation.
• Order ingredients, track usage and manage weekly pastry inventory with documentation.
• Support menu execution and recipe testing for General Coffee Co and catering programs.
• Provide pastry support for sister companies as needed for events.
