Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time cashiers and stockers to deliver friendly, efficient checkout service and keep shelves stocked for a great shopping experience. Duties include cashier duties with POS usage and stocker duties with merchandising responsibilities.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with scheduled increases in Year 2–Year 5. Average hours are under 30 per week, and the benefits package includes medical, dental, 401(k) and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to operate all store equipment and POS systems effectively.
• Ability to interpret ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and maintain accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient checkout service using the POS system.
• Open additional lanes as needed to ensure efficient checkout.
• Restock and merchandise shelves maintaining planograms.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and loss prevention goals.
