Job summary

Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey is seeking a Lifeguard for the Katz JCC. The role includes supervising the assigned pool area from 5AM to 9AM and ensuring the safety of patrons. Responsibilities involve maintaining pool records, assisting members, and managing emergencies effectively.

Qualifications

• American Red Cross Life Guarding certification.
• CPR / AED & First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard the assigned pool/area.
• Maintain proper records of pool chemicals.
• Report any pool chemical changes to a supervisor.
• Maintain the pool and deck area at all times (clean/safe).
• Assist the pool members in any way necessary to ensure both their safety and an enjoyable visit to the JCC pool.
• Fill out accident reports and pool records in the event of an emergency.
• Maintain Lifeguard / First Aid / CPR / AED training.
• Attend all mandatory in-service trainings.
