Job summary

MultiCare is seeking a Laboratory Courier to join the team at Tacoma General Hospital. The courier will transport specimens from patient locations to the laboratory and handle internal mail distribution.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Washington driver’s license, and a safe driving record. The schedule is part-time with on-call coverage and early start times as early as 6:00am, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Washington state driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Laboratory courier experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and distribute specimens from patient locations to the laboratory.
• Distribute internal mail and pick up/deliver external mail and supplies.
• Move equipment and printed materials between laboratory locations.
