The role requires familiarity with local areas and a proven ability to meet tight delivery windows. Applicants should have prior delivery or customer service experience, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and be able to pass background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 25+ years old.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and clean driving record.
• Previous delivery or customer service experience.
• Familiarity with the local area and routes.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items through different routes.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from delivery vehicles.
• Manage multiple orders and delivery locations.
• Deliver orders within an optimal period of time.
• Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions.
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
• Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS.
• Communicate clearly.
• Verify orders before each delivery.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Schedule regular vehicle service appointments as needed and report any issues.
• Perform other tasks as assigned
