Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets is seeking a dependable delivery driver to support early-morning routes. You will start around 3 AM, transport groceries to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and verify orders for accuracy. The role requires safe vehicle operation in varying weather and adherence to schedules.

You will use GPS to map routes, communicate clearly with customers, and complete delivery reports. Candidates should have prior delivery or related experience and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have previous delivery or similar experience.
• Must be able to operate with a time-sensitive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Start time is around 3 AM
• Deliver a wide variety of items through different routes
• Assist with loading and unloading items from delivery vehicles
• Manage multiple orders and delivery locations
• Deliver orders within an optimal period of time
• Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS
• Communicate clearly
• Verify orders before each delivery
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Schedule regular vehicle service appointments as needed and report any issues
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 25+ years old.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and clean driving record
• Previous delivery or customer service experience in any industry
• Familiarity with the local area, including streets, highways, and places
• Proven track record of succeeding in time-sensitive situations
• Complete a pre-employment background check and drug test
