Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. in Spokane, WA seeks an experienced delivery driver to join our local team. You will deliver a variety of items to customers' addresses, manage routes, and ensure orders arrive on time while maintaining safety.

You’ll use GPS, verify orders, log deliveries, and communicate clearly with customers. Prior delivery or customer service experience is preferred; a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have prior delivery or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Assist with loading and unloading items from delivery vehicles
• Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers at the same time
• Deliver orders within an optimal period of time, ensuring respect for customer preferences
• Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS
• Communicate clearly with customers, work through any issues or points of confusion
• Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Schedule regular vehicle service appointments as needed and report any issues
• Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car
• Perform other tasks as assigned
