Job summary

Xpress Global Systems (XGS) is hiring a warehouse dockworker in Union, Ohio. You will load and unload freight by hand or with pallet jacks/forklifts, scan barcodes, and sort products to ensure accurate trailer loading.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking inventory, verifying shipping info, and finalizing work orders while maintaining dock cleanliness. Must be 18+, with 6 months warehouse experience preferred and a 2AM start, Monday–Friday, at $19.59 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience.
• Experience as a fulfillment associate is a plus.
• Familiarity with warehousing procedures is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret written work orders.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet minimum hiring criteria.

Responsibilities

• Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse.
• May load or unload by hand, or with freight handling tools such as a lift truck, pallet jack, or side cart.
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products.
• Scan barcode on freight and ensure each movement is labeled correctly.
• Receive and put away inventory.
• Verify shipping information matches work orders and finalize records.
• Attach barcodes for tracking and routing.
• Inspect merchandise for damage or discrepancies and report as required.
• Sort and segregate freight by destination and verify counts.
• Dock area housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
