Job summary

Saltbox in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Dock Sortation Lead to own the daily sortation operations, coach a small team, and ensure every pallet is processed on time.

You will run end-to-end sortation, maintain SLA targets, coordinate drivers, and submit the daily ops report. Early start and seven-day rotation are required.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years leading a warehouse or fulfillment team and are comfortable using AI tools as part of daily work.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years leading a team in warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment.
• Experience with scanning, sortation, or distribution workflows.
• Familiar with SLA-driven operations requiring accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end sortation process: pallets in, packages scanned and sorted, batches staged, drivers dispatched.
• Stay on the floor and be hands-on when volume or staffing demands.
• Coach throughput and Sort App usage; ensure training and Sort App certification before handling packages.
• Own site performance against all SLAs: delivery, loss rate, sort completion, and dispatch targets.
• Submit daily ops reports and handle exceptions or escalations.
