Job summary

Ampact's Early Learning Corps is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to support pre-kindergarten students in a classroom setting. You’ll work with a teacher to deliver proven activities and receive coaching to help children build literacy and math skills.

You will track progress, participate in skill assessments, and engage in ongoing training while contributing to a positive learning environment for young learners.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable and have a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Join Early Learning Corps as an Early Learning Tutor and you’ll spend your days in a pre-kindergarten classroom to help students build skills and confidence. We’ll train you to deliver proven activities and coach you every step of the way!

How does it work? Partnering with a teacher, you’ll help enhance learning. Whether talking, reading, writing, singing, or playing with students, you’ll be helping them to build early literacy and math skills.With the extra attention and support, you'll make an incredible impact and help ignite a love of learning!

Essential Qualifications

By the time you begin your services with Early Learning Corps, you should be:

• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 school year.Positions run August 2026-June 2027.

• 35 hours per week (less in weeks with holidays or school release days)
• Daytime hours (correspond with school start and end times)
• Monday - Friday (no weekends)
• Time off on holidays and school release days

Part-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!
