Job summary

Education Development Center (EDC) is seeking a full-time Training and Technical Assistance Associate II for the RI Pre-K PDTA project. The role reports to the Project Director and involves providing technical assistance, facilitating professional development, and collaborating with RI Pre-K staff to improve program quality.

Regular in-person site visits across Rhode Island are required, with some tasks possible remotely.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or teacher certification in a related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field required.
• 5–8 years related experience in research, education, training, curriculum design, or program development.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships and provide technical assistance at classroom and program levels.
• Develop and facilitate professional development series responsive to program needs.
• Analyze data related to program quality and support improvement goals.
• Support timely submission of RI Pre-K grant deliverables.
• Travel to specific sites regularly.
