Pathfinder Early Learning Center in Huntington, IN is hiring a full-time Teacher to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate learning experiences for enrolled children, in partnership with families and peers.

The role supports classrooms aligned with Indiana Child Care Licensing Guidelines, NAEYC standards, and Paths to Quality regulations while delivering multicultural programming and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDA credential or higher in early childhood education or related field.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to document child progress.
• Ability to partner with families and work in a team.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced early childhood setting.

Responsibilities

• Educational Planning: develop lesson plans aligned with standards.
• Family Collaboration: partner with families to support programming.
• Hands-On Learning: provide engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Classroom Management: follow licensing guidelines for routines.
• Social-Emotional Development: apply Conscious Discipline concepts.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure health, safety, and postings compliance.
• Team Collaboration: work with colleagues to create supportive environment.
• Professional Development: maintain 20 hours of annual training.
