Provide instructional support for early learning programs and services to enhance educational achievement and instruction across all early learning programs. The Early Learning Support Specialist will promote and facilitate continuous improvement processes across all Community Education Early Learning programs: Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK), Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE), Ready to Grow-Ready to Learn (RTG-RTL), Kindergarten Jumpstart (KJS), and Ready for K. This position will support staff by increasing instructional capacity to help all students meet or exceed growth targets, promote educational equity, and improve outcomes for students.
Teaching License (B-3 or Parent Educator preferred)
Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood or Parent Education preferred)
Master’s degree preferred
Current valid Driver’s License
Early Childhood teaching experience
Community Education experience preferred
Experience working cross-culturally and/or commitment to improving one's cultural competence, including valuing diversity, recognizing personal limitations and skills, and a desire to learn in these areas.
