Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Program Specialist to bring our curriculum to life in centers and lead ongoing enhancements. You will work with teachers to ensure the curriculum is delivered as intended and become a mentor in classrooms and with parents.

The role emphasizes spending most of your time in classrooms, training staff, and supporting center goals around enrollment and operations. Strong English communication and licensing knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers in a dynamic child-care environment.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Approved State Trainer (preferred).
• NAEYC/NAC, and state licensing knowledge (preferred).
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure curriculum is presented as intended and teachers can discuss what children are learning.
• Spend 75% of time in the classroom educating children and mentoring teachers.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Train, motivate and lead staff and assist center management with interviewing and hiring teachers.
• Support center success by collaborating to meet enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals.
