Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC seeks a Special Education Teacher to lead Early Intervention activities and serve as a School-Based Consultant across three schools in Baltimore, MD. You will coach teachers, design engaging early learning environments, and strengthen IEP goals while collaborating with district leaders and families.

You will join a national team with a focus on hands-on classroom support, data-driven coaching, and a pilot program shaping early learning across schools.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active Maryland special education teaching certification is required.
• Experience with early childhood or early childhood special education.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs and inclusive, play-based instruction.

Responsibilities

• Coach teachers and paraprofessionals in real classrooms through modeling, practice, and feedback.
• Design classroom environments, routines, and visual supports for young children.
• Strengthen IEP goals, co-teaching, and small-group instruction.
• Support children with autism and behavioral, communication, and social-emotional needs.
• Lead hands-on workshops and quick-turn consultations with school teams.
• Partner with school/district leaders and involve family voices.
