Job summary

Learning Well Centre in Centre, AL is seeking a Part-time Classroom Partner to provide classroom support when a Teacher is absent and help promote school readiness and child development. You will work with teachers, staff, and families to deliver nurturing care and developmentally appropriate activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and candidates should have prior substitute experience in preschool settings. A background check and drug test are required upon employment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working as a Classroom Partner or substitute in a pre-school environment preferred.
• Must pass an ABI/FBI Background check every five years and a drug test at employment and randomly.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for a classroom when a Teacher is absent.
• Assist in delivering high-quality early education and promote school readiness.
• Build nurturing relationships with children, parents, and staff in the classroom.
• Follow Head Start Performance Standards and other guidelines.
