Job summary

OVEC in Louisville, KY is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in creating a structured, engaging classroom for young learners. You will help with daily operations, supervise activities, and assist with hands-on learning.

You will prepare instructional materials and guide children through routines while communicating with families to support each child’s development and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preschool CDA credential or pursuing an associate or bachelor's in child development/ECE.
• CDA program enrollment with intended completion within two years of hire.
