Job summary

The Learning Experience in Melbourne, KY is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support classrooms with a nurturing, engaging environment for infants to preschoolers. You will work closely with lead teachers to deliver activities and monitor safety.

Qualified applicants have a High School Diploma or GED, a passion for early childhood education, and the flexibility to meet state requirements. Compensation is hourly, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
ECE coursework preferred.
Minimum age 18 years.
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
Immunizations, employment physicals, and health/safety training may be required.

Responsibilities

Classroom Leadership: Partner closely with teachers to orchestrate a stimulating, welcoming space where children can play, learn, and grow.
Curriculum Implementation: Support teachers in implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, adapting your approach to Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children.
Safety First: Maintain a safe, nurturing environment where children are safeguarded and thrive.
Family Communication: Regularly update parents on progress and milestones via apps and in-person discussions.
Center Collaboration: Work with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment and engagement goals.
Relationship Builder: Cultivate warm relationships with families and colleagues.
