Job summary

Growing Up NM is hiring Educational Assistants for the Kaune Early Learning Center in Santa Fe. You will support teachers, plan with inquiry-based methods, and help maintain a safe, welcoming classroom.

The role requires high school completion; a 2-year degree in early childhood education is preferred. Bilingual abilities and strong communication with families are valued. On-site work with a full benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; higher education preferred.
• Experience with early childhood settings is desirable.
• Knowledge of ECECD/NM PreK standards advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom learning in infant to 4-year-old rooms using a Reggio Emilia approach.
• Assist Lead Teacher with weekly plans, observations, and assessments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Document and communicate with families; participate in team meetings.
• Support health, safety, and licensing requirements in daily practice.
• Collaborate to develop inclusive learning experiences for diverse children.
