Job summary

TheraCare Queens is seeking a Special Education Teacher for our Early Intervention program serving infants and toddlers in home and community settings. You will design and implement individualized intervention plans and partner with families to support their child’s growth.

Qualifications

New York State certification in Special Education (Birth-Grade 2 or equivalent).
Experience with infants, toddlers, or early childhood preferred.
Knowledge of Early Intervention service delivery models and documentation standards.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct early childhood special education services to children in home and community settings.
Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
Conduct developmental assessments and progress monitoring.
Travel within NYC boroughs for service delivery.
Maintain documentation and service logs per NYC EI requirements.
Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members.
