Job summary

Metrocare Services is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to support the ECI program. You will provide intake, evaluation, and service coordination within natural environments, focusing on families and children birth to age 3 with developmental delays or disabilities.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain documentation, and deliver substantial direct services while aligning with state and agency requirements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Early Childhood Intervention or Special Education.
• 3 hours of college credit in ECI or Special Education.
• Preferred: Fully Qualified EIS with Texas HHSC ECI office.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides developmental activities with infants/toddlers in natural environments.
• conducts screenings, intake, referrals, and information.
• Organizes evaluations and IFSPs for families.
• Maintains complete, accurate clinical documentation.
• Provides service coordination, case management, and SST services.
• Shares information on community resources and family systems.
• Develops and monitors Transition Plans for ECI families.
• Attends planning meetings and collaborates with the ECI team.
• Delivers 88 hours per month of direct client services.
• Meets all performance timelines set by ECI State Office and Metrocare.
