Job summary

HSMC in Milford, MA is seeking an Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to join our team delivering services to birth to 3-year-olds with developmental delays. This full-time position emphasizes parent coaching and home-based services across the catchment area.

You will participate in screenings, assessments, and center/home visits as part of a trans-disciplinary team and collaborate with childcare and medical providers to ensure continuity of services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in infants and toddlers, early childhood education, special education or child studies.
• 300 hours of practicum or work with children under five.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of infant-toddler development.
• Use a parent coaching model with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as part of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services (child care, medical, social services, autism, hearing/vision).
• Provide service coordination for caseload including development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
