Job summary

Autism Care Partners in New York is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver center-based services under ACP Early Intervention. The role focuses on evidence-based therapy, collaboration with families, and coordinating care with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC by ASHA or in pursuit of CCC.
• State license in Speech-Language Pathology (location dependent).
• Proficiency in autism/developmental disabilities.
• Familiarity with AAC preferred.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Windows).

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services per physician order or IFSP.
• Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders using formal and informal assessments.
• Utilize therapeutic devices to maintain or restore speech and language capabilities.
• Plan and supervise patient, family and other health care providers in exercises and equipment.
• Refer to related clinics and services as needed.
• Provide counseling to speech/hearing-impaired individuals and families.
• Submit initial assessment, progress notes, and discharge summaries as required.
• Maintain communication with physicians and care team through reports.
• Coordinate care through the nurse and interdisciplinary meetings.
