Lifesteps is hiring a part-time Early Intervention Screener to assess and evaluate children within the Butler County, PA area.

Position Summary

The Early Intervention Developmental Screener is responsible for scheduling, administering, scoring and interpreting developmental screenings for children ages birth to 5 years old.

This position is responsible for sharing the results of the screening to the parents in a professional, non-threatening manner and providing parents with information on developmentally appropriate activities and child development.

This part-time position works Wednesday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. No Weekends, No Evenings.

Qualifications

Required:

• HS Diploma / GED AND two (2) years experience in child care experience
• OR Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Psychology or a related Human Service field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Current driver’s license and the ability to travel for business with personal vehicle
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with Children, such as: Child Development Assessment experience, prior work as a Teacher Aide, childcare staff, daycare employee, AGS, assistant teacher etc
