Job summary

A community-based healthcare provider in New York is seeking NYS Certified Physical Therapists for part-time and full-time roles within an Early Intervention program. The ideal candidates will engage with children aged 0-3, providing 1:1 therapy and collaborating with families to support child development. With flexible scheduling and ongoing professional support, this position involves documentation of progress and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in young lives.

Qualifications

• NYS Physical Therapy Certificate is required to practice.
• Experience with children aged 0-5 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children in a home or community-based setting.
• Collect data and complete daily session notes to track progress.
• Support families with information and skills to enhance child skill development.
• Conduct activities for cognitive, communication, and motor skill improvement.
• Collaborate with families and providers to reach IFSP goals.
• Maintain progress reports and participate in relevant meetings.
