The State of Oklahoma, via the Oklahoma State Department of Health, seeks a Part-Time Physical Therapist I, II or III for the SoonerStart program in Purcell. This role provides early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays in natural environments such as home or childcare settings.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, parent education, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team; supervision of PT interns may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in physical therapy required and Oklahoma license to practice.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Level I: eligible by letter from Oklahoma Board; permanent license before probation ends.

Responsabilités

• Provides early intervention services in the child and family’s natural environment (home, childcare, park etc.).
• Makes recommendations concerning standardized treatments/intervention based on developmental indications.
• Completes child assessments concerning developmental, educational, and social skills/abilities.
• Participates in family interview and development of IFSP per state/federal guidelines.
• Supervises Physical Therapy interns during fieldwork and mentors other staff.
