Job summary

Benchmark Human Services seeks a Family Support Specialist to assist infants and families within Montana Milestones and FES programs. You will conduct assessments, coordinate IFSPs, and support eligibility and referrals while maintaining compliant records in a collaborative team environment.

Based in Valier or nearby, you will partner with families, providers, and stakeholders to enable access to services, ensure timely delivery, and advocate for families' rights and choices, contributing to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to early childhood or human development.
• Experience working with families and/or children.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Function in intake/coordinator role.
• Assist eligibility determination and referrals.
• Conduct family assessments and collect development information.
• Coordinate evaluations/assessments and inform parents of rights.
• Assist in IFSP planning and reviewing processes.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate services.
• Monitor service delivery for timeliness and alignment with IFSP.
• Support transitions for Part C to Part B or community services.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met.
