**We are looking for Home-Based Providers in NYC, Long Island, and Westchester**

What you’ll be doing at Autism Care Partners:

Our COTA Program is highly selective and committed to employee development through supervision, training, and growth opportunities. We provide flexible schedules, skills training, and hands-on experience while serving children on the autism spectrum. As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will be supervised by a Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to children aged 0-3 with an authorized IFSP.
  • Evaluate, instruct, and monitor functional exercise programs to improve strength, range of motion, and upper extremities.
  • Assess the need for and assist with ADL equipment.
  • Work on sensory integration skills.
  • Document progress and activities in session reports.
  • Complete quarterly progress reports.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Experience working with children with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Understanding of and adherence to agency policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility in providing services and scheduling.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Physical ability to respond to children's movements and play activities.
  • Capability to lift children weighing 20-50 pounds when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program registered by NYS or the American Occupational Therapy Association, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Certified and currently registered to practice occupational therapy in NY.
  • At least one year of supervised experience in a healthcare setting.
