Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher in Carroll County, Westminster, MD. The role involves managing a classroom and implementing Head Start–aligned curricula to promote child growth and development.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with internship/teaching preschool experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent with teaching experience.
• Master’s degree in ECE or related field preferred with progressive teaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure student safety and supervision at all times.
• Implement Head Start-aligned curriculum and IEP/IFSP plans.
• Create a CLASS-aligned classroom environment emphasizing emotional support and organization.
• Develop lesson plans with individualized instruction based on ongoing progress.
• Engage families through regular conferences and home visits.
