IS Infant/Toddler CDA required; TCC/AA/BA preferred. The role includes managing the classroom, supervising aides, coordinating with families, and ensuring Head Start standards are met.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA is required.
• TCC/AA/BA degree(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily lesson plans using the assigned curriculum to match age needs.
• Supervise and observe each child, making recommendations for tailored educational plans.
• Coordinate volunteers and aides in classroom activities and parent involvement.
• Maintain health, attendance and progress records for each child.
• Engage families through conferences and required meetings; support home visits as needed.
• Implement Head Start standards to balance teacher-led and child-initiated activities.
