Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with CDA in Infant and Toddlers or ability to complete CDA within six months.
• Associates Degree in Child Development (Infant & Toddlers) preferred; bilingual Spanish/English encouraged.
• At least six months experience in an infant/toddler setting; one year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences indoors and outdoors.
• Plan and prepare healthy and safe activities per lesson plans.
• Evaluate child progress and communicate with parents regularly.
• Maintain hygiene for children and all equipment and space.
• Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences as required.
• Support program events and assist with health and nutrition screenings.
