The candidate will meet CDA or 2-year degree requirements, demonstrate strong communication, and be able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires CDA credential; Associate’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.

• Minimum one year experience with children.
• Flexible schedule incl. evenings/weekends.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired.
• Must have MS Driver’s License and own vehicle for visits.
• Background checks and health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children at all times; respond to emergencies.
• Guide children's behavior with positive reinforcement.
• Follow a set schedule including group activities, meals, and transitions.
• Encourage exploration, problem-solving and learning questions.
• Prepare the classroom and materials for developmentally appropriate activities.
• Coordinate with support staff for collaborative services.
• Adapt curriculum to IFSP goals.
• Attend integrated service meetings and document progress.
• Report child abuse and participate in professional development activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
