The Early Head Start Teacher at Opportunities serves 0 to 3-year-old children, implementing curriculum and developing lesson plans under the Center Director. The role requires supervising staff under moderate guidance and maintaining compliant documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating parent conferences, presenting daily instructional activities, and ensuring safety, confidentiality, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to use basic software and manage records.
• Experience with Head Start or childcare programs preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safety and follow safety policies in line with Head Start/licensing standards.
• Coordinate, schedule and complete parent-teacher conferences and home visits with co-Teacher.
• Assist with daily educational activities and communicate with parents about student enrichment and experiences.
• Assess and document the health and behaviors of children.
• Plan, prepare and present daily instructional activities/lesson plans with co-teacher and Center Director.
