PACE Education is seeking an EHS Parent Educator to provide case management and early childhood activities for families with infants, toddlers, and pregnant mothers in the Los Angeles area. You will plan and conduct weekly home visits, track developmental progress, and collaborate with staff to promote family well‑being and school readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in early childhood education or related field, or equivalent coursework and units.
• One year of experience in center-based or home visiting programs preferred.
• Willingness to comply with agency standards and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of families, conduct weekly home visits with parents and children.
• Support parents’ understanding of child development and milestones.
• Plan educational activities to meet developmental needs.
• Maintain 85% attendance and recruit participants per ERSEA plan.
• Provide respectful, collaborative service with families and staff.
• Develop weekly home-based educational plans using a research-based curriculum.
• Perform developmental screenings (DRDP-2015 IT, ASQ-3, ASQ:SE-2).
• Document observations weekly and track progress over time.
• Promote parent involvement and school readiness activities.
• Coordinate services across health and nutrition with families.
• Manage data in ChildPlus and ensure timely reporting.

Skills

Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Education
