Wesley Community Center is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment for infants and toddlers in Houston. The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate activities, family communication, and routine health checks.

The successful candidate will plan engaging indoor/outdoor experiences, document progress, and collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality care. Some evenings/weekends may be required to support events and program operations.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of early childhood education and child development.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is very helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, educationally stimulating environments for infants and toddlers.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
• Evaluate progress and communicate with parents regularly.
• Maintain hygiene and safety in the learning space.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
