Richland County First Steps is seeking an Early Childhood Education Support Specialist to support infants and toddlers I n Early Head Start. The role focuses on nurturing development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains within a safe, engaging setting.

Qualifications

• Education: CDA or state-awarded certificate focused on infant and toddler development is required.
• Experience: Proven experience in licensed childcare for 0–3 years.
• Certifications: CPR/FA/AED training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat Head Start participants, community members, and staff with positive regard.
• Maintain clean, safe, developmentally appropriate environments for young children.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers including feeding, diapering, dressing, and supervised play.
