Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, progress toward a CDA in Infants & Toddlers, and strong observation, communication, and organizational skills. Compensation is $15.00 per hour, non-exempt.

This is a versatile, hands-on position that helps ensure safe, nurturing experiences for children and smooth program operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent and work towards a CDA in Infants & Toddlers, to be completed within one year of employment.
• Completed CDA or AA Degree in Early Childhood Development, or related field, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Early Head Start staff in classroom activities
• Cover in classroom, kitchen, and administration duties as needed
• Support front desk operations and answer phones
• Communicate effectively with staff and families
• Assist in scheduling therapists and receiving deliveries
• Ensure children are picked up by approved individuals
• Prepare meals for Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack
• Maintain sanitation of dishes and kitchen areas
