Job summary

Crossover is hiring for an on-site Early Elementary Teacher/Guide role at Alpha campuses. You will coach K–3 students through app-based core literacy, diagnose gaps, and design short, targeted sequences. 3+ years with 4–9 year-olds, plus structured literacy training, are required.

The position offers a stable on-site schedule with weekly pay and a commitment to student progress. Expect to work five days a week, with 90% focused on guiding students through app-based learning and routine

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in teaching or coaching roles.
• At least 2 years of reading instruction in K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, etc.) or a master's in reading.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning, spotting gaps and unblocking progress.
• Lead short structured literacy sessions for small groups (2–4 students).
• Deliver morning launch, workshops, and check-chart activities with a positive plan for frustrated students.
• Drive students toward weekly app goals using school currency and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing, guiding each child to the daily goal.
