Job summary

Soccer Shots is seeking part-time Youth Sports Coaches to lead engaging sessions for young children. No coaching experience is required; we provide paid training, curriculum support, and ongoing development.

Coaches are paid per session, with opportunities for advancement into Head Coach or Program Lead roles, and additional earning avenues. Flexible scheduling and a $50 sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

• No coaching experience is required. We provide paid training, curriculum support, and ongoing development.
• Experience in soccer, basketball, coaching, childcare, education, camps, recreation, customer service, leadership, or youth development is helpful but not required.
• You should be able to travel reliably to program locations and obtain required state clearances (reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Lead fun soccer sessions for children ages 18 months through 8 years.
• Use our structured curriculum to create an age-appropriate experience.
• Set up and break down fields, goals, and equipment.
• Teach basic skills through games, movement, and play.
• Support basketball and enrichment programming as assigned.

Soccer Shots is hiring part‑time Youth Sports Coaches to lead engaging sports sessions for young children. This is a great opportunity for college students, student‑athletes, future teachers and coaches, sports management or education majors, childcare workers, camp counselors, and anyone who enjoys working with kids.

Compensation

Coaches are paid per session. Sessions are typically 30–40 minutes, and many locations include multiple back‑to‑back sessions.

• Lead Coach: $20 per session / approximately $40 per coaching hour
• Head Coach: $22 per session / approximately $44 per coaching hour (Eligible after 1 year or 4 seasons)
• Program Lead: $24 per session / approximately $48 per coaching hour (Eligible after 2 years or 8 seasons)

Additional Earning Opportunities

• Weekday substitute coaching: +$4 per coaching hour
• Weekend coaching: +$6 per coaching hour
• Office or administrative work: $15 per hour
• Maximum substitute rates: Lead Coach $46, Head Coach $50, Program Lead $54 per coaching hour
