Job summary

Soccer Shots Berks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery County is seeking part-time Youth Sports Coaches to lead engaging soccer sessions for young children. Training is provided, and the role offers flexibility, advancement, and a focus on child development.

Coaches will lead sessions weekly, follow our curriculum, and help with lightweight basketball and enrichment activities as programs expand. This position emphasizes safety, energy, and positive group management.

Qualifications

• No coaching experience required; paid training provided.
• Comfortable leading groups and following a curriculum.
• Able to travel to program locations and engage children aged 18 months to 8 years.

Soccer Shots is hiring part-time Youth Sports Coaches to lead engaging sports sessions for young children. This is a great opportunity for college students, student-athletes, future teachers and coaches, sports management or education majors, childcare workers, camp counselors, and anyone who enjoys working with kids.

Soccer is the foundation of this role. Coaches lead soccer sessions each week and may also support introductory basketball and movement-based enrichment as our programs grow.

This is more than a part-time job. It is a chance to gain experience in coaching, leadership, child development, group management, and youth sports programming.

Compensation

• Lead Coach: $20 per session / approximately $40 per coaching hour
• Head Coach: $22 per session / approximately $44 per coaching hour (Eligible after 1 year or 4 seasons)
• Program Lead: $24 per session / approximately $48 per coaching hour (Eligible after 2 years or 8 seasons)

Additional Earning Opportunities

• Weekday substitute coaching: +$4 per coaching hour
• Weekend coaching: +$6 per coaching hour
• Office or administrative work: $15 per hour
• Maximum substitute rates: Lead Coach $46, Head Coach $50, Program Lead $54 per coaching hour

Experience in soccer, basketball, coaching, childcare, education, camps, recreation, customer service, leadership, or youth development is helpful but not required.
