Job summary

Soccer Shots is hiring part-time Youth Sports Coaches to lead engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, student-athletes, future teachers, and coaches who enjoy working with kids.

Coaches are paid per session, with opportunities for advancement and a $50 sign-on bonus. We provide paid training, and reimbursement for state clearances, with a flexible schedule and potential for growth within the program.

Qualifications

• No coaching experience is required; paid training is provided.
• Must be able to travel reliably to program locations.
• Able to obtain required state clearances, which we reimburse.
• Comfortable leading groups and speaking confidently.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun soccer sessions for children ages 18 months through 8 years.
• Use our structured curriculum to create an age-appropriate experience.
• Set up and break down fields, goals, and equipment.
• Teach basic skills through games, movement, and play.
• Support basketball and enrichment programming as assigned.

Soccer Shots is hiring part-time Youth Sports Coaches to lead engaging sports sessions for young children. This is a great opportunity for college students, student-athletes, future teachers and coaches, sports management or education majors, childcare workers, camp counselors, and anyone who enjoys working with kids.

At Soccer Shots, you are helping children build confidence, develop character, and experience the joy of movement in a positive environment.

You will gain experience in youth sports coaching, early childhood development, leadership, customer service, program coordination, and enrichment programming.

Compensation

Coaches are paid per session. Sessions are typically 30–40 minutes, and many locations include multiple back-to-back sessions.

• Lead Coach: $20 per session / approximately $40 per coaching hour
• Head Coach: $22 per session / approximately $44 per coaching hour (Eligible after 1 year or 4 seasons)
• Program Lead: $24 per session / approximately $48 per coaching hour (Eligible after 2 years or 8 seasons)

Additional Earning Opportunities

• Weekday substitute coaching: +$4 per coaching hour
• Weekend coaching: +$6 per coaching hour
• Office or administrative work: $15 per hour
• Maximum substitute rates: Lead Coach $46, Head Coach $50, Program Lead $54 per coaching hour

What We’re Looking For

No coaching experience is required. We provide paid training, curriculum support, and ongoing development.

• Able to follow a curriculum while bringing personality and energy

Experience in soccer, basketball, coaching, childcare, education, camps, recreation, customer service, leadership, or youth development is helpful but not required.
