Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a Teacher for full-time, in-person work at our Trumbull, CT center. You will create hands-on activities, communicate with families about daily milestones, and maintain a safe classroom environment. Join a team dedicated to nurturing young learners and supporting families.

Eligible candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, CDA or college coursework in early education, and a passion for developmentally appropriate practice. Prior preschool experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College-level early education coursework or CDA required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.
• 1 year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
