Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher in Suffield, CT to support toddlers in a full-time role. This in-person position requires flexibility within 7am–6pm hours and emphasizes hands-on activities, parent communication, and maintaining a safe classroom.

You will work in a Bright Horizons center, promoting developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) and pursuing ongoing education opportunities, including CDA/college degree support at no cost.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• College-level early education coursework or CDA required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s in early education preferred.
• 1 year of teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
