Job summary

Bauer Family Resources is seeking a caring Program Aide in Indiana to assist in the delivery of education and nutrition services for children and families. Responsibilities include classroom support, bathroom and diapering, tooth brushing, and maintaining clean, safe environments.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in child care, a high school diploma, and a valid Indiana driver’s license. The role offers full-time hours (30+ per week) with comprehensive benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• Must pass routine background checks.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years child care experience preferred.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and insurance requirements must be met at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in classroom routines.
• Maintain clean and safe indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Assist with implementation of lesson plans.
• Assist with administering snacks and meals to children.
• Ensure compliance with Bauer Policies, State Licensing, and Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Attend twice-monthly staff meetings, monthly Professional Development Days, quarterly All-Agency meetings, and annual Pre-Service.
