Job summary

A youth sports organization in Simsbury is seeking enthusiastic individuals to coach soccer for children ages 2–8. The role involves managing small groups, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of children, and maintaining a flexible schedule. Candidates should be outgoing and reliable, with a passion for making classes enjoyable. Soccer experience is preferred, but not required. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $15.69 during training to $20 per session for fully trained coaches.

• Enjoy interacting with young children (2–8 years old); outgoing and animated.
• Experience in soccer preferred but not required; able to engage a group of young children.
• Willing to commit to the set schedule for each season.
• Responsive and communicative; must respond within 24 hours.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
• High School Diploma required.

Qualifications

• Professional: Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with parents and facility staff; self-assured and confident
• Enthusiastic: Enjoy interacting with young children (2–8 years old); connect with children on their level; make the class the best 30–45 minutes of the week; able to be outgoing and animated
• Experience: Soccer experience is preferred, but not required. Must be able to engage a group of up to twelve 2–8 year olds
• Reliable & Committed: Willing/able to commit to the set schedule for each 8–11 week season
• Self-sufficient, communicative, and responsive: Ability to communicate and request support; maintain on-track scheduling; provide timely updates to supervisors
• Must keep responsive within 24 hours of communications from Soccer Shots leadership
• Transportation/License: Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Eligibility: Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
• High School Diploma
