Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Community Education Activity Helper to provide instruction, care, and development for children from 6 weeks old to pre-kinder. The role requires strong communication skills and a High School diploma. Candidates must be 18+, hold an Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card, and have reliable transportation.

Two positions available at the Schumaker Infant & Early Learning Center in Tucson, with a full-time schedule of 8 hours per day. This position is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card is required.
• Must have reliable mode of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the instruction, care, and development of children ranging from 6 weeks old to pre-kinder.
• Facilitate communication between staff members assigned to their team.

Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
