Job summary

Somerville Public Schools is seeking an Early College & Post Secondary Access Coordinator to design and oversee a new early college program at Somerville High School. You will work under the Director of College & Career Readiness to engage first generation students and families and coordinate with partner colleges for program implementation.

The role emphasizes youth development, postsecondary pathways, and equitable access, with duties that include family education, advising, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Experience with early college design and programming strongly preferred.
• Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Haitian Creole speaking ability strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designing a new early college partnership and coordinating with partner colleges.
• Educating students, families, and staff about the early college program and procedures.
• Advising students and families through admission, financial aid, and college search processes.

Education
