Job summary

Town & Country Early Learning Center in Middletown, CT is seeking dedicated educators to join our team. We have openings for infant/toddler and preschool teachers to create a nurturing environment for our youngest students.

You will develop engaging lesson plans, collaborate with a seasoned teaching team, communicate with families, and maintain high standards of professionalism. The role requires a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of early childhood experience.
• AS (BA/BS preferred) in ECE or related field with at least 12 ECE credits.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must be 18 years or older and fully vaccinated against covid-19.
• Must clear background check and health screening.
• Ability to take frequent walks and engage with children physically.

• Teachers must hold an AS (BA/BS preferred) in ECE or a related field with at least 12 ECE credits
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception
