Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and a high school diploma or equivalent; meet EEC education/experience requirements for Teacher.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required.
• Evidence of a recent physical examination.
• Immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead age-appropriate curriculum and activities aligned with EEC, NAEYC, and YMCA standards.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
• Supervise children and ensure safety and well-being at all times.
• Foster strong partnerships with families through regular communication and updates.
• Maintain attendance, reports, and required documentation.
• Support nutrition and wellness initiatives meeting HEPA standards.
• Assist with staff training, meetings, and professional development.
• Help promote YMCA programs, events, and community engagement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space.
