Qualifications

• Immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella.

Child Care Teacher

The Old Colony YMCA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age or have a high school diploma or equivalentANDmeet EEC requirements for education and experience for Teacher.

• Ability to create and sustain a culture of excellence andwork and thrive as part of a cohesive team.
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary.
• Will sometimes work early morning, late nights and weekends.
• Strong oral communication skills required for occasional public speaking responsibilities.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 75lbs on occasion and 40lbs frequently (children) and move intermittently during work hours.
• Ability to thoroughly understand Y-USA's three focus areas: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility; proven ability to identify and meet the needs of the health seeker

Pay Range

The estimated pay range for this job. Disclosing pay information promotes competitive and equitable pay. The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience. $18.00 - $20.70 / hour
